It all started in 1993 when my wife asked me if I didn't know of any other Foreigners who wanted to meet a Dominican lady.
At the time I didn't know anything about internet or computers.

In early 1999 a friend in Canada was looking to build some websites. He came up with the name Latin Affairs

Almost all Dominican marriage agencies are of two types. There are National or International marriage agencies.
National agencies are generally located in The Dominican Republic. International Agencies are run from Europe, the USA or Australia.
